ADMISSION PROCESS

Ready to become a Cambridge Family? Cambridge Classical Academy employs a simple, yet thorough process to ensure we find an appropriate match between prospective families, our philosophy and mission. You can find snapshots of our process outlined below.

Welcome to Cambridge Classical Academy and thank you for your interest. You’re well on your way to completing step one of Cambridge Classical Academy’s admission process. 

 

Help us get to know a bit about you and your amazing child through our admissions inquiry form. When you’ve submitted it, be sure to check your schedule and let us know one of our upcoming tour dates fits your availability! 

 

We gladly host new families every Friday from 9AM to 12PM beginning the first week of October. Check your schedule and let us know when you can make it. 

 

 

 

Shadow days are setup on Wednesdays for prospective students. We gladly welcome interested parents to contact our admissions team to setup a date for your child’s visit. 

 

Visiting students arrive at 8:30AM and are checked in by a parent or guardian. The potential CCA student stay with his/her prospective class through lunchtime (11:30AM).  Please send a nut-free lunch for your little one; we’ll provide everything else. 

 

CCA requires no uniform for visiting students, so feel free to allow your child to wear his/her favorite, comfy attire.  Please ensure your child has closed-toe footwear at all times while at the school. 

 

During the visit, our teaching staff will assess your child’s class-readiness and provide some feedback to you upon your return between 11:30AM and 12:00PM. 

 

 

 

How to Apply

 

We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of their child’s application. To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

 

A non-refundable fee of $50 must be submitted with each application.

 

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application and, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms.

Upon receipt of your completed application, our admissions team will setup a parent interview. Just 30-minutes long, the parent interview is convenient and informative. It give us an opportunity to dive into what’s fueled your school search and helps us learn more about your family.

 

 

 

Admission decisions are rendered quickly, often by the next business day. Our admissions team will alert you via email with instructions on how to respond. 

 

We intentionally maintain a student-teacher ratio of 12:1 to underscore our commitment to individually-focused education. Our rolling admission policy makes it easy for you to take advantage of any available spots on our roster. If we are full in any grade, we will gladly add you to our waitlist and keep you informed of developments.
